Eurocontrol obtain 45001 certification for Health and Safety at work

For Apave, safety remains an important external and internal issue, which is part of the Group's raison d'être. With this objective in mind, and after 13.5 days of auditing, we have obtained ISO 45001 certification, which has an initial duration of 3 years and certifies that our company has implemented a healthy and safe system of work for our employees.

"An organisation is responsible for the occupational safety and health (OSH) of its workers and others who may be affected by its activities. This responsibility includes the promotion and protection of their physical and mental health.

The adoption of an OSH management system aims to enable an organisation to provide safe and healthy workplaces, prevent work-related injuries and health deterioration and continuously improve its OSH performance."

What actions carried out by Eurocontrol stood out in the audit?

• Management of measures for the prevention, monitoring and control of COVID-19 infections in the different scenarios generated by the evolution of the pandemic.
• Management of information and training of workers in general and specific occupational risk prevention.
• Progress in new mechanisms for communication with workers.
• Progress in the participation of the Prevention Delegates in OHS matters.
• Management of individual protection equipment and coordination of business activities.
