What is an emergency and self-protection plan?
An emergency plan is the set of procedures and organizational measures designed to respond quickly and effectively to a critical situation, in accordance with the provisions of Article 20 of Law 31/1995 on Occupational Risk Prevention. Its objective is to protect the life and integrity of people through the organization of first aid, fire fighting and evacuation.
The self-protection plan, regulated by Royal Decree 393/2007, extends this approach and establishes the organic and functional framework of an activity or establishment to prevent and control risks to people, property and the environment, integrating emergency response into the public civil protection system.
How can we help you?
At Eurocontrol we help our clients to design and implement effective, realistic plans adapted to their activity, accompanying them throughout the process. We analyze the risks, the available means of protection and human resources, and define clear and understandable action protocols.
In addition, we ensure the correct implementation of the plan by means of specific training and simulations, either on-site or virtual, which allow us to check its effectiveness and prepare the teams for real situations. We also carry out periodic reviews and updates to guarantee the plan's validity in the event of regulatory, organizational or structural changes, as well as the necessary procedures for its registration with the competent bodies.
