ATEX risk training
Objectives
At the end of the course, workers in companies with the presence of explosive atmospheres will have achieved these objectives:
- Be aware of the risks of working in classified areas.
- To know the areas of their DPCE, as well as the good practices to avoid accidents in their facilities.
- Know how to interpret the training compliance required by the ATEX legislation (RD 681/2003) and the DPCE explosion protection document of your company (adaptable according to customer's DPCE).
- Have knowledge of machine and work equipment selection for use in classified areas, in compliance with RD 144/2016.

- Personnel and operators working in ATEX classified areas.
- Managers, middle managers and technicians involved in prevention, design of the production process or choice of work equipment.

- Regulatory and normative framework of application.
- Scope. Company obligations.
- Properties, characteristics and hazards of combustible gases, vapors and dusts.
- Classification of areas with risk of explosion.
- Maintenance of equipment and means of protection installed in ATEX zones.
- The Explosion Protection Document.
- Prevention and Protection Measures in classified areas.
- Work in classified areas.
- Practical case.
